On the weekly picksheet, select one team that you
think will win outright (no spread) that week.
You can only select a team once throughout the entire
regular season (each week select a different team).
If you select a team twice it will count as a loss
for that week. The commish will do his best to let you know that you have
selected a duplicate team in your picksheet via email, but ultimately it is
the player's responsibility.
If you don't make a selection for the survivor pool
it will count as a loss.
After your SECOND loss, you are out of the pool.
This pool continues until there is only one player
left, all remaining Survivors go out in the same week, or until the end of
the regular season.
If all remaining Survivors go out of the pool in
the same week, the "group" of remaining Survivors that lost will
split the pot evenly. For example, if there were only 4 Survivors left after
week 15, and all 4 were eliminated after week 16 results, the 4 from week
15 would split evenly.
If at the end of the regular season there is more
than one player left, the tie breaker will be the number of games lost within
the survivor pool, (either 0 or 1). If one player has no losses then he/she
would be the winner. If a tie still exists the pot will be split equally
to all tied players. For example, if 2 people have 0 losses and 3 people
have 1, the pot will be split between the 2 people with 0 losses
Each player contributes $10 to this pool so the
payout will be determined by how my players are in the pool.
There will be NO SPLITTING of the Survivor pool among
remaining members. The Commish does not care if there is a consensus among
the members or not. The true spirit of the Survivor pool is to "survive."
If you don't have the gumption to play it out, don't play at all.
